I want to start by thanking Nefastus for snaging this information for me.

I (Nefastus) spoke with Brannoc today and he basically said that more beta information will be released sometime next week. He also said that Beta will be before January for sure, so it's a really good news. Here's a log of the conversation.

Nefastus: Hey insider, will we be informed before final guild beta memberships for both Primary and Secondary Tester Snapshots will be taken?

Nefastus: Second question is, does the 12 Primary Testers are Guaranteed to get into beta, or do they just have higher chance than the rest?

Brannoc: I expect there to be an announcement prior to it

Brannoc: no one is guaranteed to get in day 1

Brannoc: however primary users have the highest chance of being in

Brannoc: it's honestly going ot be based on how many total people are in the pool

Brannoc: by my estimate there are about...

Brannoc: lets see

Brannoc: 100, 24, 32

Brannoc: in the range of 2500-3000 people in the clan database

Brannoc: of those about 1800 are in the primary sets

Nefastus: How many do you think will be chosen on the first round?

Brannoc: I'm not sure

Brannoc: but my guess is 2500

Brannoc: it'll depend though

Brannoc: and odds are they'll be pulled in the order that the clan was registered

Brannoc: so the first clan that registered will get all their primaries

Nefastus: Not bad, but I assume the number of Primary Testers will largely increase by the time they pick the testers

Brannoc: and then the second, and so on

Brannoc: once they've runthrough all the groups they'll go back and take extras from the first, then the second, and so on

Brannoc: at the current rate we're getting about 500 a week

Nefastus: Wow, a lot, heh

Brannoc: but also remember there will be the solo registrants

Brannoc: I dunno the factors for that yet

Brannoc: so that could effect things as well

Nefastus: Yea, it's pretty complicated, and I understand that. Well, thanks for info.

Brannoc: my best guess is 1000 soloists, 1500-2000 clans

Brannoc: on day 1 that is

Brannoc: but that's just a guess really, we'll see how things go

Nefastus: Is there any ETA on additional information regarding beta being released?

Brannoc: I expect we'll see something this week

Brannoc: but I don't think anything major will happen before mid-oct

Nefastus: Still, I doubted anything would happen for months, so even Novemember would be better than nothing

Brannoc: it'll happen before 06
