The Covenant of the Phoenix is a multi gaming guild that has been around for over 9 years with chapters in; AC-DT, SWG, CoV, Guild Wars, EQ2, LotRo, PotBS, AoC, Vanguard, WoW, and Warhammer.

Let's face it, mmorpgs come and go. When looking for a guild, you will want one that is willing to expand into other games and has a history of stable leadership. We are a mature and drama free gaming community. Our members are easy going and joke a lot in ventrilo and on the forums.

A guild can make or break a person's experience in a MMO. Different guilds for different folks. The trick is finding one that will become more like a family than a guild and will last throughout the years.

The guild was founded on the principles of loyalty, honor, and brotherhood and thrives because on-line adventure games are more fun in the company of kindred spirits.

Our membership ranges in age from teens to the late fifties and geographically spans the globe (although most are adults residing in the North American continent). Most of us have jobs or college commitments and families, and therefore we support the premise that real-life has priority over game-life. So power gaming isn't required.

While we may be a multi gaming guild, we have always taken strides to maintain that close knit family oriented feeling that is often associated with smaller guilds.

Darkfall Specifics

We are an established guild with a history. We don't engage in childish boasting on the forums. We have and always will march to our own drum. Our actions speak for themselves.

We are an all race clan.

Here is a link to our Darkfall interactive map. Darkfall Map

We aren't good or evil, PK or Anti-PK. We are CotP. We are loyal and true to ourselves. We have a reputation of being an honorable guild, but we won't hesitate to attack other players that stand in the way of our goals. We don't bother with stupid KOS lists, we just follow simple rules of engagement.

* Don't attack guildmates.
* Everyone else is free game. However, you need to pvp with Style and Honor.
* No Rez camping or Killing the same person over an over again. . . Unless they truly deserve it.
* No Smack Talk.
* No Whining.

I encourage anyone that is looking to join a mature gaming community to visit our site, in any case, it doesn't hurt to look. So, please feel free to visit us at www.covenantofthephoenix.com

The Covenant of the Phoenix provides me with more than I ever expected from a guild. When I want to play a game, I can jump into any number of MMO, FPS, sports and even old-fashioned pen and paper rpg games and find friends to play with. When I feel like chatting, I can jump onto our vent server and find dozens of guild members doing all different things. When I just feel like relaxing and surfing the forums, there are always pages of new topics and posts on everything from the latest MMO news to tech help to who is having company at their house tonight. I have friends around the world through CotP. I also have real-life friends in CotP. I don't have to worry about losing contact with any of them if we stop playing the same games because our guild allows us to always stay in touch.

The very best part of the guild is the quality of membership. Mature, family-oriented, casual, knowledgeable people who are genuinely friendly and helpful and social. I enjoy spending time with my friends, chatting and playing games. The Covenant of the Phoenix gives me the opportunity to do that and, for me, that's the greatest service a guild can provide.

I just wanted to give a quick update as to our current Darkfall Online status.

We're currently very active in gearing up for release. We expect between 75 and 100 active members at launch and 50-100% more at the two week mark after launch.

As it has been stated before, we've been around a while, and we've done so with the idea that no alliance, no pacts and no diplomatic BS will ever come before the gaming enjoyment of our membership.

If you're on the lookout for stability in guild leadership, policy and the comfort in knowing we'll actually still be around 6, 12 and 24 months from now, we look forward to your application.

I have been part of "Covenant of The Phoenix" for quite some time and I love it! I have played many games especially MMORPGS since UO and feel this is the best Guild I have ever been in.

If your looking for a great guild that's very active, has mature members, cares about each other and knows how to PWN in MMO's then I suggest you take a look at our web site.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
