I'm new here and what I see on these forums in EVERY thread is mostly senseless argueing of two factions, whether DFO is vaporware or not. It's getting boring. I wanna believe it's just few castaways, who make the whole thing up.. but hey guys, it really IS annoying and makes very bad impression on new folk like me. |

HAHHA. haha you gotta be kiding. But i wish you were right. and once again ill say that i like this game and i want it to come out more then anyone. im an old school UO player and ive been dying for a game like this. its just the company making MY game i hate. and that goes for everyone else thats pissed. were not hating on the gam ut the people making it. Btw do you guyz realli wana know y the game isnt out? well becuz they dont have a distrub. and without that there no game. the truth is the devs dont even no when the game will come out cuz they still needa land the deal. so hopefully it will be soon but its not looking good because they been trying for awhile and no one wants it. they even tryed selling the game also but no one wanted it either. but i hope there luck changes cuz i realli wana play ! |

They don't want to send it out there too early, long dev + short beta = short dev + long beta... there are probably 10X more DF supporters than haters, why would forum mods, UNPAID by Aventurine, STAY for a game that'll never come out? |

Why was there close to 1,000 active people browsing the Dark and Light forums when it was in development? Because they were gullible idiots. Just like the gullible idiots that follow Darkfall now. The only place that people actually think that Darkfall is NOT a 7 year old doomed vaporware joke is on the official forums. Go post about forumfall any place else and they will laugh you out. Following Darkfall at this point is like following some idiotic religion. Blind faith needed - no real proof of existence required. I have been following many MMORPGS (including WISH, Warhammer and others) I have to say that any game that stays in development for 5+ years is doomed. |

The reason DF has had loyal support for so many years is because many veteran player can see its potential. This is no SB copy and it is certainly not WoW. Anyone experienced in this genre of games knows what DF could be. I have been watching DF for a long time. It is possible that this game never comes out however this is very unlikely. This is business with a lot of time and money involved. At this point vaporware shouldn't even be discussed. There has been progress this is for sure. So how can you call it vaporware? Unless Aventurine goes bankrupt this game will release. They have too much riding on it. If and only if that happens should this game be considered vaporware. Teedle & brand0o let me know if you find something promising enough to lure you away from DF talk. I haven't found anything. Beta update?
It seems beta may be closer then we think. With Tasos talking about getting applications ready there seems to be an update on the offical Darkfall forums. Brannoc, Admin at Darkfall forums, has posted a sticky saying clan beta sign ups are closed and solo sign ups are soon*TM*
Can this be true? And if so how much longer untill solo sign ups? Only time knows and we'll have to wait and see if Darkfall beta can start before Fall.
