Darkfall Developer Journal Delayed One Week

Due to E3 the Dev Journal had been pushed one week. You can expect to see the Dev Journal this Thursday the 19th. Surly's column may or may not be affected due to the schedule change so check back for more updates.

Again sorry for the confusion

Is there any coverage on Darkfall at E3 ? Did they even go ?...

E3 isn't as big as it used to be. With the game so close to beta and the developers pressed for manpower, it would be a waste to go. Hype is fine, but Darkfall's glory will come only from Beta.

Man they just keep coming up with more and more excuses to not talk about the game don't they?

They're not even going to E3. They're not on the list.

or maybe they'll pop up and stand around in an empty booth and forget to bring along the game like they did last time.

"but Darkfall's glory will come only from Beta."

or it will just fall miserably like all the big bright waving red flags have been pointing to for the last 7 years.

You mean the red flags that were so expertly debunked by the Darkfall community so many moons ago? I'm sure the devs are concerned with what smear campaigners sponsored by defunct companies say.

I wouldn't take their absence from E3 as any indication. Only two "MMO companies" were on the list: NCSoft and SOE. It was a publisher only event, so unless you belong to major label like Microsoft, Sony, Midway, Eidos, etc. you were not there.

I didn't say a thing about the game itself, just that their absence from E3 is irrelevant and the lack of a journal was simple: I was in Los Angeles and running E3 coverage. We also skipped a Fury article on Wednesday, there's no conspiracy theory here.
