Either way however, I think it's one of the primary jobs of any company releasing an MMO to have built in suitable redundancy, reliability and backups plans for as many of the variables as possible. In addition it would be prudent to fully test all systems (internet connections, server load, pre-ordering processes, user registrations, login servers, patch servers, etc) and it doesn't look like much of that has occurred either. |

Just curious, I'm not real sure on this as I don't know the specifics.
I believe the darkfall servers are located in Germany...if Adventurine doesn't own these servers, isn't it possible part of the botched release is the company running the server's fault and not completely adventurine's.
I'm really not sure on this, what do you guys think?
Also I heard they wrote their server code in Java....WTF were they thinking? C++/C# would have been 1000X better.
