No, it's not releasing feature information, it's more about letting players try these features and be disappointed in the early Beta stages. Many AA and TR players left the games during the Beta stage due to bugs that were fixed following release.
But those bugs that were fixed didn't make the games any better - they still suck. :) |

Well, you're entitled to your gaming opinion, but many others did, and still do, enjoy it. Too bad they came late though.

Myself and 3 friends played it for about 3 weeks after release, played for about a month before it got boring.
I couldn't NOT play a Garriott game, was just sad it was so blah. |

Well, with all the patches and new FPS mode and Earth instances you should come back and do the free play in January. I'll be there as well. |

Aventurine is shady at best, and masters of double-talk, empty implications, and excuses. From what I can see over time, Tasos' actual career consists of pointing out that he didn't actually promise something that he either promised or implied strongly.

The idiot blind faithful will tell you it's actually beta, and they have "professional testers" and a lot of other garbage that doesn't pass the laugh test of the average MMO player over the age of (again) about eleven years old.
If this game is released in January it will be a complete and utter disaster. You cannot test an MMO without thousands of players, and only the select few geniuses you see defending DF here think otherwise.

Well, the point is to get a taste of the game and check what it had to offer, and decide for yourself if NCsoft's move was correct or not.
Plus, TR packs some fun combat action, especially for quick intense sessions. |
