Aventurine still hasn't announced a solid date, but they do anticipate a summer beta. I personally guarantee that a public beta will be up and playable, reported by witnesses, by October 22nd if not sooner... and I would put my projected date at September 24th.

With AoC coming out in October, I would bet that Darkfall goes to public beta before that. I'll go with the 21st of September. It's a friday and with everyone home for the weekend it would make sense to start downloading over the weekend. Interestingly, it would not surprise me if the beta was an EU thing. Being close to home when shit hits the fan may be a possibility for the Adventurine folks. Here's to hoping for a North American beta release.

5 screenshots and a test video of some empty looking locations on the map doesn't mean anything. There's A LOT MORE that goes into making a mmorpg then that.. That video is something you would expect to see from a game after only a few months of development.. not after a 6 YEARS. Not to mention the graphics and animations look really bad.

AoC has set and missed more beta dates than Darkfall ever has. Darkfall promises decent gameplay and graphics, while AoC promises pretty graphics and about 5% of it's originally anticipated gameplay. But hey, pretty games are good games right?!

What videos and screenshots? You mean that mediocre video they released a few days ago showing circa 2000 graphics and no gameplay what so ever?? After 7 years? The only fool here is people like you who actually think that video means something. Darkfall is still 100% vaporware. Some camera moving around empty buildings and terrain with no NPC's in sight and a character running around doesn't change that. If anything , that video just makes them look bad to people with some commen sense.

You can look at screenshots from early last year and see 90% of what is in that video. It's mostly old stuff. You're so gullibly desperate for this game that you'll force yourself to believe in more then what's really there.

What exactly are you trying to prove to me Draugh? That darkfall isn't vaporware based on the last video? If so , you failed miserably. Tell them to give you a litle bit better ammo next time you decide to call me out.. rather than some outdated scripted fly by of buildings that you can make with Torque.

Maybe something like... Video's of gameplay , like Crafting and Questing and City construction. Things that they haven't been able to show but have promised since 2001.
