Teedle, seriously. Nobody cares. Really. Like, at all. In fact, instead of convincing people that Darkfall sucks, does not exist, etc. you're just making people more willing to believe that it does. Here's a different technique you could use:

One: Try pretending to be an overzealous fan making wild accusations and presenting idiotic information. Argue heatedly whenever the name is brought up. Basically what you are doing now, except from the other side of the table.

Two: Make a new account before you do this, otherwise people will just think you're following my advice. Might even wanna try moving to a different forum, that said.

Three: Before you do any of that, though, POP A MIDOL AND CHILL!

2 weeks left to start and finish Open beta and there is still no evidence whatsoever that closed beta has actually even started yet, not a good sign.

I think almost certain that this "public" beta is actually still just a very small and very select group of friends, associates and trusted guild and long term community supporters that have been invited.

When I say very small I mean probably only 10 or 20 people so far, it's the only way to explain zero leakage.

So far it would appear Tasos is still being just as misleading and manipulative as he has always been.

Very silly of him and Aventurine to do this when it was there last chance to show they had any credibility left at all.

They have said the beta and game would launch every year for at least the last two.

No they have not. The first time they have ever mentioned release was this year. As for betas, there was that abortive clan beta many years ago right after Aventurine took over Darkfall and an expression of hoping to have a beta in summer 2007.

Instead of letting hoards of screaming fanboys into an open beta they kept beta testing internal and hired professional beta testers. The trolls over on MMORPG.com even found evidence of that.

Albeit in a VERY "non-commital/string-you-all-along, con-man" sort of way.

If you want to see what dishonest, lying, scumbag, developers look like take a tour of Funcom's offices. Aventurine's offences, as imagined by the committed haters, pales into insignificance.

Absolutely false. Some of the videos were even released without any warning.

EVERYTHING they have said they would deliver has been late or a no-show.

A grotesque over-exaggeration. Strange how the haters get more worked up over the time taken to create a video than the fans do, especially when there was no announced release date for the video.

And not just "we are having some technical issues" late. Sometimes entire games have been developed in the span between videos!

Yeah. Crappy flash browser games that take a whole week to make.

Show me a MMO that took under a year to make and I will laugh both at it, for being worthless, and at you, for bringing it up.

The above is the standard 'cop-out' used when someone makes a load of dubious claims and knows that he can't back up those claims with reliable links or evidence.

I am a follower of the game and I know my Darkfall 'stuff'.

I know for instance that trolls and haters know less about the game than the followers do since they have not been following the dev updates. I know for instance that the trolls and haters usually take developer statements WAY out of context, will spin them to mean something different altogether or will just outright lie, either by ignorance or design.

For the committed haters and trolls, a video or a developer update being a week late is evidence of a conspiracy.

To the rest of us it's just a late dev update.

This game has been the butt of every joke made about MMO's.

Factually wrong. Most MMO jokes target World of Warcraft since it is, by far, the most famous MMO out there and the market leader.

It amazes me that Darkfall has any following whatsoever.

Why? Darkfall has features that people have been screaming out for, for years. The likes of WoW, AoC, EQ2, or other clones, don't have Darkfall's feature set.

Correction, they have no PR department. They release developer updates and videos when they have time. If you want buckets of pre-release hype then Darkfall isn't a game for you.

Even now they string you all along with a "mystery beta" that no one can confirm even being a part of.

Notice here class is the standard "I'm not really a hater" cut-and-paste statement often used by haters near the end of their posts. We see it quite often and it follows the standard behaviour patterns as printed in your "Trolls and Haters Illustrated" text books (page 142).

Notice the construction of the post. It begins with a simple emotive statement aimed at the addressee and then quickly descends into wild accusations and poorly thought out assertions against the haters' chosen hate-target. This is the standard behavioural pattern.

Of course, after producing so much dubious material the subject then tries to strengthen his credibility by claiming that, deep down, he really is a member of the group that he is addressing.

It's a bit like a woodcutter going into a forest with a stick in his hat and telling the trees that he too is a tree.

Of course the trees aren't fooled either.

This too will be on the test.

Claiming that you know something for a fact does not mean that it is a fact. It's just another dubious claim from someone who has already stated he will never play a game that he already hates.

Can you back up your statement with evidence and links, or do I just dismiss it as the mere opinion of someone who hates Darkfall with every shred of his being?

Do you realize the resources(let alone physical bodies) needed to take care of the massive amounts of damage control that a game experiences in its initial release?

Damage is caused by releasing games unfinished and buggy (Vanguard, AoC). It's reassuring to know that Darkfall has taken so long to develop.
